What Is a People List?
In Commenter.ai, the Post Feed feature allows you to filter what you see by either keywords or people. A People List is your way of telling the platform exactly who you want to see posts from.
You create your own lists. You control who’s in them. And you choose how to organise them.
This means you’re not at the mercy of the LinkedIn algorithm anymore. You get a feed that shows you the content you actually want to engage with. The posts from the people who matter to your goals.

How to Create a People List
Let’s walk through the process of building a list from scratch.
Step 1: Open the Post Feed
Inside Commenter.ai, go to the Post Feed tab. This is where your lists live and where you’ll filter your content based on people or topics.
By default, the platform may load a sample list to show you how it works. You’ll want to create your own lists instead.
Step 2: Click “Add People List”
Click to add a new people list. You can name this list anything you like. For example:

Monday Contacts
You can even organise your lists by the day of the week if that helps you plan your daily engagement.
Step 3: Add People to Your List
You’ve got three options:
Option 1: Manually Search and Add
Use the search bar to find people by name. Click to add them to your list. This is ideal for adding specific people you already follow or want to keep up with.
Option 2: Bulk Add Using LinkedIn URLs
If you already have LinkedIn profile URLs, you can paste them straight into the upload field. Visit someone’s profile on LinkedIn, copy their URL, then paste it into Commenter.ai.
Option 3: Upload a CSV File
You can upload a spreadsheet with the LinkedIn profile links. Commenter.ai will read the file and add everyone listed to your selected list.
Whichever method you choose, you stay in full control of who’s included.
Keep Your Lists Focused
To keep things manageable and avoid triggering LinkedIn’s spam filters, each People List is capped at 27 people.
This cap is intentional. It’s there to help you engage consistently without overdoing it. You can create as many lists as you want, but each one stays focused.
Smaller lists encourage more intentional commenting. You won’t feel overwhelmed. You won’t look robotic. And your engagement will feel more human.
How to Use Your People List
Once your list is created, go back to the Post Feed and select your list from the dropdown.
The feed will now show you only posts from the people on that list. No distractions. Just the content you care about.
